So I know it's been over a month since I've updated my journal. School started shortly after AWA so my time has been super limited again. I have however managed a few bag/purse test runs which I'm pretty proud of. The fact that I'm doing anything creative let alone possible Artist Alley stuff is huge for me. I've got a couple more patterns I want to work with before I start ordering fabric. The first pattern I did was not very nice to me. But after I get test runs of those I should have a good idea of what kinds of bags I want to make and how many I should be able to get done. I also have a commission from the one and only . One of Zuco's(sp?)many outfits from Avitar. Should go together pretty quick I just need to get started on ironing fabric and cutting out pattern pieces...bleh my least favorite part of sewing. Hmmm...what else? Also been working...very slowly on a portrait for a friend of mine. Maybe just maybe I'll have it done by Christmas but I'm not even finished with the outline yet! I'm so slow at drawing.
That's about it on the art front. I'm considering opening up commissions again maybe after the first of the year but that all depends on running some more test patterns. I'd like to have some yukata done by Acen next year but all is iffy on the con front after Ohayocon in January.
Gah! I can't wait for school to be over! Just two and half more quarters!
